General information, not advice

Sounder & Scope publishes general information about feral hog control and night hunting gear. It is not legal advice, and it is not a guarantee that any product or method will remove hogs from your property. Hunting, trapping, transport and firearm rules differ by state and change every year; our Texas summaries link to their official sources, but you are responsible for confirming the current rules with Texas Parks and Wildlife, the Texas Animal Health Commission, your local game warden or an attorney. Follow the manufacturer's instructions and all safety guidance for any product you buy, and never shoot without a safe backstop and a positively identified target.

Accuracy and changes

We work hard to keep specifications, model names and rule summaries accurate, and every figure links to its source. Makers update models and listings often, though, and we can make mistakes. Check the retailer or maker before you buy. If you spot an error, tell us and we'll correct it.

Prices, availability and purchases

Prices and availability are set by the retailer and change often, which is why we don't print them. When you click a buy button you leave our site; any purchase is between you and that retailer, under its terms, shipping and return policies. We don't sell products and can't help with orders.
